ESPOL promotes sustainable water management through its Ecohydrology Demonstration Site Project
The Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) is advancing its commitment to sustainability and integrated water resource management through the project “ESPOL Ecohydrology Demonstration Site: Lakes and Albarradas,” an initiative aimed at obtaining official recognition as an Ecohydrology Demonstration Site from UNESCO.
ESPOL Strengthens Scientific Cooperation with IGME-CSIC Through an Official Visit to Spain
ESPOL and FICT paid an official visit to IGME-CSIC in Spain to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation in areas such as hydroecology, education, and research; the delegation, led by its senior officials, consolidated strategic partnerships and reaffirmed its participation in joint initiatives, paving the way for new opportunities for international collaboration and sustainable development.
ESPOL Recognizes International Collaboration in Research and Education at the Alumni Reunion Held in Madrid
The Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) honored international researchers and faculty members during the ALUMNI-ESPOL Meeting at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, strengthening academic ties with Spanish institutions. The collaboration with the IGME-CSIC and the AECID on training and research programs was highlighted. These initiatives promote international scientific cooperation and the development of sustainable solutions for natural resources.

La docente Carola Gordillo (FICT) realiza una visita técnica en The University of Texas at Austin para explorar líneas de investigación en pavimentos. En reunión con el equipo de Jorge Prozzi, se abordó la modelación del desempeño estructural, el análisis de carga de camiones y el uso de tecnologías como LIDAR.
