CIPAT and FICT held a follow-up meeting for the applied research project focused on geological and geotechnical studies for monitoring CELEC-SUR’s hydroelectric power plants. During the meeting, participants reviewed the progress made in the second year, the deliverables produced, and the technical reports, with the aim of integrating results, strengthening technical criteria, and optimizing decision-making. The initiative highlights the value of applied research in ensuring the safety and sustainability of strategic infrastructure.

ESPOL presented its 2025 Accountability Report, highlighting its national leadership, progress in research, sustainability, and innovation, with active participation from FICT.

The workshop titled “Electric Mobility: Regulations for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations” was held in Quito at the offices of the German development agency GIZ.

A student from the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm will undertake a research internship at ESPOL’s School of Earth Sciences Engineering through the DAAD RISE Worldwide program, participating in projects on CO₂ capture technologies and advanced water treatment.
