FICT Strengthens Its Digital Skills at INHOUSE Tech 2026

FICT is strengthening its digital capabilities through its participation in INHOUSE Tech 2026

The Coordination Team of ESPOL’s Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) participated in INHOUSE Tech 2026, a professional training and continuing education event focused on digital transformation, innovation, leadership, artificial intelligence, and new trends applied to organizational management.

The event provided an opportunity to learn about experiences and best practices related to the application of artificial intelligence in various sectors, as well as its use to increase productivity and optimize processes. The session also addressed topics related to leadership, innovation, decision-making, and well-being in the workplace.

Topics covered included the application of artificial intelligence in companies and teams, its integration into daily activities, real-world examples of its use in the healthcare sector, and the challenges associated with innovation and digital transformation. These sessions also encouraged analysis and critical thinking regarding the adoption of new technologies.

For FICT, the ongoing professional development of its staff is an integral part of its institutional management strategy in response to technological changes. In this context, digital transformation requires not only familiarity with new tools but also the development of skills that enable their responsible, critical, and value-driven use.

The lessons learned during INHOUSE Tech 2026 can be analyzed and applied to the Faculty’s various areas of work, including academic, administrative, and communication processes. In this way, participation helps to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and the development of digital skills.
