As part of the faculty orientation day organized by ESPOL’s Center for Educational Research and Services (CISE), the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) was pleased to welcome the non-tenure-track adjunct faculty members joining the school during the 2026 IPAO period.
The event took place in person in the FICT conference room and was attended by faculty administrators, program coordinators, and professors who are part of this new academic phase. The purpose of this session was to support the faculty members as they begin their roles, providing them with an overview of the faculty’s academic and administrative operations.
During the session, participants discussed guidelines related to FICT’s organizational structure, academic processes, institutional tools, internal regulations, and support channels available to assist them in their teaching activities. In addition to sharing key information, the orientation created a warm and welcoming space for interaction among members of the FICT community.
For the faculty, these types of gatherings represent an opportunity to strengthen integration and collaborative work, reaffirming the commitment to continue building a solid, caring academic community aligned with the high-quality education that characterizes ESPOL.
At FICT, we are pleased to continue growing as a community and to welcome new teachers who will contribute their experience and knowledge to our students’ education.
