FICT strengthened ties with educational institutions during the second edition of the ESPOL 2026 School Rankings

FICT Delegation at the School Ranking Fair

ESPOL’s Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) participated in the fair held as part of the second edition of the ESPOL 2026 High School Ranking, an event that brought together administrators, teachers, and students from educational institutions across the country. The event complemented the ceremony organized by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, which aimed to recognize high schools whose students achieved outstanding performance in the ESPOL admissions process and to strengthen ties between high school and higher education.

As part of this event, the FICT presented two of its academic programs to the participating delegations, highlighting the educational opportunities offered by the Faculty and the professional profiles of its degree programs. During the fair, Faculty representatives answered questions from educational officials and explained the academic and professional development opportunities provided by engineering programs in geosciences.

In addition, high school representatives were invited to visit the Gustavo Galindo Velasco campus to learn about FICT’s academic offerings through interactive workshops designed for high school students. These activities aim to introduce prospective applicants to the university experience and contribute to informed career guidance regarding the disciplines offered by the Faculty.

Through this initiative, FICT-ESPOL reaffirms its commitment to strengthening coordination with secondary education institutions, promoting partnerships that will expand awareness of its academic programs and provide more students with access to educational opportunities in earth sciences engineering.
