On January 9, 2026, the closing ceremony of the ADITEC Chair 2025 was held. This specialized training program took place between October 3 and December 19, 2025, establishing itself as a key space for practical learning and knowledge transfer in the field of construction.
The ADITEC Chair is an applied technical training program in concrete technology and construction processes, promoted by Aditec Ecuatoriana in partnership with ESPOL. Its approach integrates academic foundations with real industry experiences, enabling participants to understand and address the technical challenges of the construction sector.
The program consisted of seven modules totaling 16 academic hours, covering fundamental topics such as concrete admixtures, their functions and benefits; plasticizers and superplasticizers; setting retarders and accelerators; corrosion inhibitors; industrial epoxy coatings; as well as concrete repair and anchoring systems, providing a comprehensive and applied overview of these technological solutions.

The main objective of the chair was to strengthen the professional competencies of future engineers by promoting the transfer of up-to-date knowledge, the development of specialized technical skills, and direct engagement with the country’s industrial reality.
The successful completion of this program reflects the joint commitment between academia and industry to promote excellence, innovation, and the sustainable development of engineering in Ecuador. We extend our gratitude to the students, faculty, and collaborators who made this initiative possible and reaffirm our commitment to training highly qualified professionals.
