N8n Automation Course Strengthens Digital Skills at FICT-ESPOL

Smart Process Automation with n8n: Integrating Digital Tools to Streamline Tasks

From April 20 to 23, the in-person course “Workflow Automation with n8n” was held in the satellite classroom of the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). The course was designed to strengthen the digital skills of students and professionals through the use of innovative technological tools.

During the sessions, participants acquired practical knowledge to design automated processes, integrate applications, and optimize repetitive tasks. Using the n8n software, functional workflows were developed for real-world scenarios, incorporating tools such as forms, APIs, Google Sheets, Gmail, Telegram, and artificial intelligence models.

The course combined conceptual fundamentals with practical exercises, allowing attendees not only to understand how automation works but also to adapt it to academic, professional, and research contexts. The activity was led by Freddy Paul Carrión Maldonado, M.Sc., and was aimed at FICT faculty, researchers, and technical staff, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to innovation and continuing education.
