Master's Program in Civil Engineering Hosts a Talk on Digital Construction Tools

Digital tools for detailed documentation of construction processes

As part of its extracurricular activities, the Master’s Program in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Construction and Sanitation, at ESPOL’s Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) organized the virtual talk “Digital Tools for the Detailed Documentation of Construction Processes.” The event was aimed at industry professionals and undergraduate students, as well as the ESPOL alumni community.

The event featured the participation of Engineer Víctor Orozco, M.Sc., who discussed the use of digital tools for recording, monitoring, and controlling construction processes. During the session, practical approaches were presented that strengthen technical documentation and the traceability of activities in construction projects.

The event created a space for collaboration between academia and the industry, facilitating the exchange of experiences and the updating of knowledge on technological trends applied to civil engineering. The participation of professionals and alumni contributed to strengthening technical skills related to efficient project management.

This initiative is part of the Master’s in Civil Engineering program’s approach to promoting applied training and continuous professional development, encouraging the use of digital tools that contribute to the optimization of construction processes and the improvement of quality in project execution.
