FICT professors and researchers Andrés Velástegui, Ph.D., and Priscila Valverde, Ph.D., have been appointed as Early-Career Editorial Board Members for scientific journals indexed in Scopus. This selection recognizes their contribution to research, their commitment to academic quality, and their work in disseminating scientific knowledge. Andrés Velástegui joins the editorial team of *Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment*, while Priscila Valverde will serve on the editorial board of *Membranes*.
Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment publishes research on remote sensing applications aimed at analyzing and understanding environmental, territorial, and social issues.
