Sustainable Innovation in Concrete Technology

Research on sustainable concrete strengthens ESPOL's international profile

Samantha Hidalgo, Nadia Quijano, and Natividad García Troncoso, professors and researchers at the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) and the Master’s Program in Seismic-Resistant Civil Structures, continue to strengthen the academic community’s research and international presence through technical publications in highly regarded international journals such as CPI Worldwide.

The publication featured in CPI Worldwide highlights advances and innovations in concrete materials and technology, promoting more efficient and sustainable construction solutions. These scientific contributions reflect the institution’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the development of technologies applied to civil and structural engineering. The research conducted incorporates sustainability approaches through the use of recycled materials, eco-efficient technologies, and solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact of construction, thereby strengthening international academic cooperation and ESPOL’s scientific visibility.
