The Mining program at the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) will participate in the 19th EXPOMINAS, taking place May 6–8, 2026, in Quito—one of the most important events in the country’s mining sector. This participation reaffirms ESPOL’s academic, scientific, and technological commitment to an industry that is strategic for national development.
Throughout the event, participants will take part in conferences, networking sessions, and technical activities focused on knowledge exchange. These initiatives strengthen the relationship between academia and the mining industry, promoting opportunities for applied learning, professional development, and the formation of strategic partnerships that benefit both students and the productive sector.
Participation in these types of events contributes to the development of technical and professional skills and positions the FICT as a key player in training talent equipped to tackle the challenges facing the country’s mining industry.
