FICT Welcomes the 8th Cohort of the Master's Program in Civil Engineering

8th Cohort, Master's in Civil Engineering

Training professionals who specialize in water infrastructure and systems is essential for strengthening infrastructure, improving water management, and addressing the sustainable development challenges facing Ecuador.

To this end, ESPOL’s Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) welcomed the eighth cohort of the Master’s in Civil Engineering program, which, over its six-year history, has helped train more than 137 professionals with advanced skills in construction, sanitation, project management, and applied innovation.

This new cohort brings together 22 new professionals from various productive and business sectors across the country, who have decided to strengthen their technical and management skills to lead projects that generate sustainable solutions and have a positive impact on their organizations and communities.

Through training focused on technological innovation, sustainability, and the practical application of knowledge, the master’s students will develop the skills to optimize sanitation systems, promote more efficient buildings, and foster infrastructure that is resilient to current and future challenges.

The addition of this eighth cohort represents a new generation of specialized talent, ready to contribute to the country’s development through the planning, design, and implementation of strategic projects that improve the population’s quality of life.

We warmly welcome our new master’s students and wish them success in this phase of professional growth, leadership, and innovation in the service of Ecuador.
