The Teaching Committee of the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) held a working session on Tuesday, April 14, at the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT). This meeting was part of institutional efforts aimed at the continuous improvement of academic quality and the strengthening of the educational offerings.
During the session, key proposals were analyzed regarding the creation of new technology-focused degree programs, designed to address the current demands of the country’s productive and social sectors. These initiatives aim to promote relevant and innovative education aligned with national development needs.
Likewise, the Commission reviewed adjustments and updates to a master’s program, with the aim of ensuring its consistency with academic standards of excellence and its alignment with international trends in higher education. This process helps maintain the relevance and quality of the institution’s graduate offerings.
Holding this session at the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering highlights the academic unit’s active role in ESPOL’s strategic processes. Such forums strengthen informed decision-making and academic planning, benefiting students, faculty, and the country’s productive sector.
