On April 9, 2026, the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) presented its 2025 Accountability Report, highlighting a management approach focused on results, impact, and transparency.
During the event, the institution reaffirmed its leadership as Ecuador’s number one university and its ranking at 36th in Latin America, reflecting an academic model that integrates excellence in teaching, research, and commitment to society.
At this event, staff from the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT) actively participated to learn about institutional progress and strengthen alignment with ESPOL’s strategic objectives.
The report highlighted achievements in research, international accreditations, infrastructure, and sustainability, as well as the incorporation of artificial intelligence tools into educational and employability processes.
More than just a reporting exercise, accountability has established itself as a key moment for understanding the impact of collective work and planning management that is consistent with current challenges.
Accountability is about building trust.
It is management that generates results.
