ESPOL’s Faculty of Geosciences Engineering (FICT), through its Civil Engineering program, held a proposal review meeting for the integrative course on April 17 and 20, 2026. The purpose of this activity was to ensure the quality, coherence, and relevance of the academic projects to be carried out during the first academic semester (PAO I) of 2026.
During the sessions, faculty members analyzed the content and scope of the proposals, facilitating feedback sessions aimed at strengthening academic planning. This process ensured that the integrative projects align with both the program’s educational objectives and the needs of the professional field in civil engineering.
The initiative contributes to the development of practical and interdisciplinary education, promoting the application of knowledge in real-world contexts. In this way, it strengthens students’ preparation to tackle challenges in the professional sector through an education focused on problem-solving and applied learning.
Furthermore, this activity aligns with ESPOL’s institutional mission to train competent professionals committed to the country’s development through a relevant and high-quality academic program. The ongoing review of academic content enables sustained improvements in the program’s teaching and learning processes.
