On February 10, 2026, in the Admissions Auditorium (Block 2A) of the Gustavo Galindo Velasco campus, the closing ceremony of the fifth edition of the ESPOL Mentoring Program was held, an institutional space aimed at providing professional and human support to students.

The day marked the official closing of the program, recognizing the active participation of the students (mentees), as well as the valuable contribution of the mentors and academic teams who accompanied the process.

Structured support and professional growth

The fifth edition of the Mentoring Program began in October 2025 and consolidated a structured model of professional guidance based on a multilevel and intergenerational relationship between experienced professionals and students from the Faculty of Geosciences Engineering - FICT.

Through confidential conversations and strategic reflection spaces, participants strengthened their confidence, clarified vocational goals, and identified opportunities for growth. This process allowed them to enhance key competencies such as emerging leadership, decision-making, and professional projection.

In addition, the program promoted an active culture of knowledge transfer, strategic networking, and learning based on real experience, strengthening the link between academia and the workplace.

Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals

This initiative contributes to the fulfillment of:

  • SDGs 4 – Quality Education, by promoting comprehensive training and support for professional and human development.

  • SDGs 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering cooperation between academia and the productive sector.
