On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Civil Engineering program held its II PAO2025 end-of-semester meeting in the FICT Conference Room. The meeting gathered 92% of the faculty, reflecting a strong level of academic and institutional commitment.

The session was led by Paulina Vilela, Civil Engineering Program Coordinator, together with faculty members. Its objective was to comprehensively analyze the academic and strategic outcomes of the term and align the teaching team with institutional projections for 2026–2027.

Academic Evaluation

During the session, academic portfolio results were reviewed, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement in assessment processes and learning evidence. Observations related to the accreditation process were also analyzed, reaffirming the program’s commitment to international quality standards and the consolidation of a culture of continuous improvement.

Strategy and Institutional Positioning

The meeting also addressed general aspects of curriculum reform and defined strategic lines aimed at strengthening the FICT identity. Key priorities included increasing scientific publication indicators, enhancing institutional visibility through greater presence on social media and the website, and improving key metrics to position the Faculty at institutional and regional levels.

As a follow-up measure, it was agreed to reconvene in April, at the start of I PAO 2026, to continue the planned actions and monitor progress achieved.
