Profile and requirements for internships

The Civil Engineering student will be able to access the Pre-Professional Practices considering:

  • Approval of the subject associated with the profile of the practitioner of interest. The practitioner profiles are defined as: Structures, Geotechnics, Hydraulics and Works. The associated subjects are Reinforced Concrete, Soil and Rock Mechanics, Hydraulics and Topography and Geographic Information Systems respectively.
  • Sufficient number of credits to use during the PAE or PAO1 and PAO2. It should be noted that 1 to 5 credits are required to take business practices during PAO 1 or PAO 2.
  • Ability to generate information, analysis and interpretation of results.
  • Ability to work individually and/or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Oral and written expression skills. Preparation of technical reports, proposals, studies.
  • Ethical and professional responsibility.
